Mariner II is designed with sleek lines and extra lens sheilding. Adjustable hypoallergenic rubber nose pads and temple grips add a custom fit to its lightweight, shatterproof polycarbonate frame.

Now you don't have to switch from your sunglasses to your reading glasses when your'e out in the sun! AquaView® II advanced hydrophobic lenses repel water, cancel dust-collecting static charges, resist oily smudges and are highly scratch resistant. AquaView® II lenses are polarized, providing 100% UV protection and eliminating reflected glare. Typhoon’s AquaView® II lens is constructed from lightweight, double injected polycarbonate, a plastic so impact-resistant it exceeds the FDA’s requirements by a factor of 40.

Easy to wear
I have 2 pair of these glasses in Brown and Grey Lens both have their place but I do seem to wear the Brown Lens more often than the Grey and even will often take the Grey off on sunny days to prefer the view with the Brown. I also fish lots of clear water with 10ft /12ft visibility

Better than my other brand
I've had these for sunglasses for almost a year and they have proved better than my other brand sunglasses. I no longer have to switch from regular sunglasses to readers to tie knots. These also are great on boat runs, with no wind issues I've had like my previous brand. I fish a lot of tournaments and these are definitely worth the money!

Best Fishing Glasses Ever
Well after many tournaments where I have dropped pair after pair of reading glasses overboard, I finally purchased Mariner II readers. Having worn Mission Bay glasses I decided to purchase the Mariner II. Not only do they provide the UV protection I need but I no longer have to switch glasses to tie on. Way to Go Typhoon, Awesome!!!!!!

WORTH EVERY PENNY
As I get older , the 1.5 magnification really helps, but having one pair for blocking the sun and still being able to tie on a lure , makes it even better, thank you.

Best Glasses in the Market Today!!!
Since the time I order my Mariner II I stopped switching glasses every time I needed to look at the electronics and see at a distance. The bifocal lense its great for my close reading and the rest of the glasses are outstanding!!! I don't leave home without them now. Thanks Typhoon Optics!!!

I wore these for the first time this past weekend. Very comfortable. It was great being able to tie knots (5lb test floro to 15lb test braid) without squinting! Highly recommend these glasses for any one needing a little extra help seeing those small dia. lines. Thanks

Best Sunglasses on the market
I purchased my first set of Typhoon sunglasses 3 years ago. I bought them because they were the first non prescription sunglasses I had seen with reader capability. I first thought the price was a tad steep but I can't tell you how much I really like these sunglasses. I called a year ago because the nose piece had broken. No problem "send them back for free replacement". I recently accidentally stepped on them cracking the lens. No problem, lifetime guarantee!
I've been telling my wife to buy a pair.
She's getting a pair for her birthday!

AWESOME GLASSES
I was having to take off my sunglasses and put my reading glasses on whenever i had to retie my fishing line. I heard about these glasses at a FLW tournament and decided to give them a try. They work fantastic. No more having to have my readers close by, no more taking sunglasses off in the bright sun light to put readers on and being blinded by the sun. They beat my expectations.

Great Product
Typhoon Polarized Sunglasses have helped me compete at my best. They are comfortable, lightweight, and stylish. The lenses are clear and the polarized coating helps me see things underwater that i would miss with regular sunglasses. The Wear it to Win program is awesome and Typhoon's customer service is excellent. Keep up the good work and thanks for a great product.

Love them
I wore them for the whole 13" season, they were great ! Light weight , resisted dust and water spots. With the bifocal lenses , I was able to wear my contacts without having to carry extra glasses to tie knots. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new pair of sunglasses.

When I got these glassesI didnt realize they would be so clear and light, not only that but they have readers on them which work very well! Im impressed,I can now see to tie or retie line without changing my glasses. Not only that but comes with a nice case and bag. By far best purchase on sun glasses ever made! Will be wearing them all season in BFLS,FLW and EVERSTART. Thankyou TYPHOON!

Old eyes now happy!
I was a bit skeptical at first about the reader lens function, but decided to give them a try based upon the reviews. Let me say how VERY happy I am with these sunglasses! The 1.5 correction was perfect for me, and the optical quality of the reader portion of the lens is excellent. I bought them originally to use on my sailboat so I could read the GPS while sitting at the helm with my sunglasses on. I find the reader lens is so handy that I also wear them in the car so I can see what is going on with my smart phone without having to put on my reading glasses.

All in all, a fine pair of sunglasses. For years I have work nothing B&L sunglasses, but those days are over now after a few years with the Typhoon Harbor glasses I have been using, and now these Mariner II glasses. The value of the Typhoon products is way up there!

The only slight negative is that the ear pieces are a little tight on my 7 5/8 hat size head, but that may get better as the glasses an I spend more hot Texas time together

Great for Arizona Sun
We service and clean pools in Arizona in the summer. These glasses are great for us boomers whose site is leaving us. The Mariner 2 allows me to see my cell phone and read while going from pool to pool. Great for the intense Arizona sun.

The bi focal is great
I found Typhoon Sunglasses at my local West Marine store a few years back. I've been hooked ever since. This is my third pair. First pair got stepped on, my second pair just wore out, but the Mariner II with the added bi focal is a great surprise. When I bought them I didn't realize they were bi focal till i put them on outside of the store.. At first I thought it was some protective coating till I looked at my watch and I could see the time! What a great idea..Thanks for thinking of the reading glasses generation. I can even read on the beach again!
